Name of the Post: Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO)
No. of Posts: 750 (Gen – 379; OBC – 201; SC – 114; ST – 56; VI – 11; OH – 12)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.
Pay Scale: Basic pay of Rs. 17240 /- pm in the scale of Rs. 17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4)–32640 (other admissible allowances as per rules).
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2013; Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.
Probation: Probation of 1 year extendable up to 2 years.
Application fee: Rs.500/- (App. Fees –cum- Intimation charges plus Bank Charges /Gateway Charges in case of Offline/Online Payment respectively) for General and OBC Candidates and Rs.50/- (Intimation Charges inclusive of Bank Charges in case of offline payment only) for SC/ST/PH Candidates. Candidates have option of paying the fee either ONLINE or OFFLINE. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Before applying online candidates should possess the Valid e-mail ID, latest passport size photograph, photograph of signature and payment challan (State Bank of India). After applying online, the candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration no. and other essential details. Candidates need not send the Print Out by post or other medium of communication to Life Insurance Corporation of India.
