The Division Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court Chief Justice RV Malimath, hearing the matter, has issued a notice directing that only 14 percent reservation should be given to OBC category in the MPPSC 2019 recruitment process.

Reply sought from MPPSC

The court has issued a notice to the government and the MPPSC and sought an explanation as to on what basis the candidates were being given the benefit of 27% reservation in the recruitment process. This yatra has also been summoned by the High Court along with other petitions related to OBC reservation. At the same time, the next hearing in the case will be on February 21.
