UPSC IFS Exam: Union Public Service Commission has started the registration process for UPSC IFS Exam 2022. Candidates who want to apply for Indian Forest Service Examination can apply online through the official site of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the exam is 22 February. According to the notification, the number of vacancies to be filled based on the result of the examination is expected to be around 151.
Here are the eligibility criteria
Interested candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects like Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or Agriculture, Forestry or any university incorporated Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Age Range
Candidate willing to apply should have attained the age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August 2022.
Selection Process
As per the notification, there will be two consecutive phases in the Indian Forest Service Examination.

Application fee
Candidates applying for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (except Female/SC/ST/PWBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) will have to pay a fee of Rs.100 either by cash deposit in any branch of SBI will have to pay by Candidates can also pay by using Net Banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.
