- Mining Overman Posts: Candidates should have Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized Institute along with an Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR issued by DGMS for Coal.
- Mining Sirdar Posts: Candidates should have passed 10th class with Sirdar Certificate of Qualification issued by DGMS for Coal and First Aid Certificate issued by St. Johns Ambulance Association.
