Northern Railway has introduced the first diesel and electric locomotive simulators in India at the Tughlakabad and Kanpur locomotive sheds. These help upgrading the skills of the working and new drivers, providing them training for high speed train operation. All workshops, Diesel sheds and Air brake freight depts. are ISO 9000 certified. Diesel shed, Tughlakabad has the distinction of being the first diesel shed to get 14000 certification on Indian Railway. Other diesel sheds and workshops are also going for ISO-14000.

Staff Nurse
Qualifications: Certificates as registered Nurse & Mid-Wife having passed 03 Yrs Course in general nursing and Midwifery from a school of nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing council or BSC nursing.
Post : 07 Posts
Age Limit : 20-40 Years.
Salary: Rs.17655/- .
Pharmacist
Qualifications: 10+2 in Science or its equivalent with 02 yrs Diploma in pharmacy & registration with pharmacy council of India or with state pharmacy council.
Post : 06 Posts
Age Limit : 20-35 Years.
Salary: Rs.10160/- .
