Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 'Statue of Equality' statue at around 6:30 pm on Saturday. This statue has been made in the memory of Saint Ramanujacharya of the 11th century Bhakti branch. In his address, PM Modi said, on one hand Sardar Saheb's 'Statue of Unity' is repeating the oath of unity in the country, while Ramanujacharya's 'Statue of Equality' is giving the message of equality. PM Modi said, today the huge statue of Ramanujacharya ji is giving us the message of equality in the form of Statue of Equality. With this message, today the country is laying the foundation of its new future with the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas'.
