Age Limit: As on January 31, 2013

Tax Assistant and Inspector of Income-tax posts:  Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years

Multi Tasking Staff: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years

Educational Qualification:

• Tax Assistant and Inspector of Income-tax posts: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent and 8000 key depression per hour Data Entry Speed is also required for Tax Assistant posts
• Multi Tasking Staff post: Matriculation equivalent from a recognized University / Board

Pay Scale:

Tax Assistant: Rs.5200-20200/-Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Multi Tasking Staff: Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Inspector of Income-tax: Rs.9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
