NALCO Notified Recruitment to 15 Various Posts 2013

NALCO issued notification for recruitment of 15 doctors to the post of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) (7 posts) at E1 grade and Sr. Medical Officer (8 posts) at E2 grade in the discipline of Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology & Skin at its hospitals at Angul and Damanjodi sector. MD / MS / post MBBS diploma in Medicine / Surgery / Anesthesia / Radiology / Skin with 1 year post qualification experience in the respective discipline. Candidates without experience may apply for the post of Medical Officer at E1 grade. Specialist recruited as Medical Officer - E1 grade will be placed as Senior Medical Officer - E2 grade on successful completion of 1 year service.
Age will be reckoned as on 21 June 2013. The upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and by 10 years for PWD General candidates, by 13 years for PWD-OBC candidates and by 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for Interview. They will be required to bring original certificates for verification at the time of personal interview failing which they will not be allowed to appear the personal interview.

The selected candidate needs to be medically fit as per medical rules of the Company. Final placement of candidates is subject to their medical fitness and their fulfilling other joining formalities.

Selected candidates will be liable to be posted / transferred to any NALCO establishments in India. They may be assigned jobs / functions / assignments as per the requirements of the Company including shift duty.

Travel Allowance: Candidates will be reimbursed IInd class AC to and fro train / bus fare from their communication address mentioned in the application for attending the interview by the shortest route on production on tickets / proof of journey.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100 is to be paid through a Bank Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “National Aluminium Company Limited” payable at Bhubaneswar.

SC / ST / PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees. 

How to Apply: Interested eligible doctors should send their application, in the prescribed format, along with attested copies of required certificates / documents to ‘The Recruitment Cell, HRD Department, National Aluminium Company Limited, NALCO Bhawan, P/1, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar – 751061, Odisha’ by ordinary post so as to reach the said office by 22 July 2013.

On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe ‘Name of the post applied for’.
