AIIMS: Faculty cell of AIIMS will meet on which day a four-member search-cum-selection committee will meet to select some names for the recruitment of new director. The advertisement was issued on November 29 and the last date to apply was December 29.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences located in Delhi (AIIMS) There are 32 candidates for the post of Director. According to official sources, the date on which the four-member search-cum-selection committee will meet to shortlist some of the names is yet to be decided. The members of the committee are Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, Department of Biotechnology Secretary Rajesh S. Gokhale, K. Vijay Raghavan, Principal Scientific Adviser to the government and Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University.

"The members of the committee will meet soon to finalize some of the names, after which it will be sent to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by the Prime Minister for final approval," a source said. Advertisement was issued on 29 November for the recruitment and the last date to apply was 29 December.

OPD services resumed in AIIMS

At the same time, let us tell you that it has been decided to resume OPD services in AIIMS as usual. Now patients can register themselves directly by coming to the hospital to be shown in OPD along with online registration. Due to Corona, the services of offline OPD and special clinics in AIIMS were stopped. The medical superintendent has also ordered to start special clinics running in the afternoon in the hospital. Patients with diseases related to kidney, neuro, heart, lungs are treated in these clinics. Actually, due to corona in AIIMS, the number of OPD registrations and surgeries were reduced. For a long time, only a limited number of OPDs were running in AIIMS. AIIMS has issued an order to open all its departments. Patients can be admitted in private and general wards of all departments.
