The SC also directed the NGT to consider their stand and take a decision afresh. It barred the state authorities from taking coercive action against them over the recovery of the fine. Mayor visits site after fire doused in Chandigarh After consistent efforts of almost two days, the Fire and Emergency department of the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, has managed to douse the flames and also controlled the smoke emerging from the site after a major blaze was reported in Sector 26.
