Houses set on fire, forces out after fresh violence in Manipur
Tension apparently escalated after a mob forced Meitei shopkeepers and women vegetable vendors at a market in the Checkon neighbourhood of Imphal to wind up business for the day. Clashes between security forces and mobs were reported when fire engines requisitioned to douse flames engulfing the torched houses were obstructed along the route. Tear gas was used to disperse mobs, officials said.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the admit card for the typing test of the Junior Assistant Recruitment 2022. Candidates who cleared the written examination can download the admit card from the official website. The typing test will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages from June 1 to 13, 2023. Candidates must fill the departmental preference between May 22 to June 16, 2023. The UKPSC aims to fill 445 vacancies for the post of Junior Assistant.
