According to a mouse study presented at ENDO 2023, the Endocrine Society's annual meeting in Chicago, social isolation may have a harmful effect on bone health. 70% of students in coveted medical schools will be from 9 states
Over 70% of students joining the MBBS course in top medical colleges this year will be from nine states. The NEET-UG 2023 marks range data, exclusively accessed by TOI, showed that nearly 65% of candidates who scored 400 and above are from eight states — Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, UP and West Bengal. In the 620 and above marks range, Delhi replaces Bihar in top eight.

KEAM 2023: Kerala engg entrance results 2023 out on cee.kerala.gov.in, Sanjai Mallar tops the exam
Kerala engineering entrance examination result 2023 has been announced with Sanjai P Mallar and Ashik Stenny from Kannur and Kottayam securing the first and second ranks respectively. Fredie George Robin from Kottayam won the third rank. Nine of 10 top ranks in the list were secured by boys with Chethana S J and Eden Vinu John being the winners in SC and ST categories. The entrance test was taken by 80999 candidates, with 49671 clearing the test and 24325 of them being girls. Minister Bindu said preparations were complete for conducting the KEAM entrance exam online from next year.

UPSSSC VDO Re-exam Admit Card 2023 released on upsssc.gov.in; exams on June 26 & 27
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Selection Commission has released the Admit Card for the UPSSSC VDO Re-Exam 2018. The re-examination is for the recruitment of Gram Panchayat Adhikari, Gram Vikas Adhikari, and Samaj Kalyan Prayvekshak Posts. The VDO Recruitment Examination 2018 was initially conducted in December 2018. However, the examination was canceled due to an investigation. The UPSSSC VDO re-examination will now be conducted on June 26 and 27, 2023, and the hall ticket is available on the official website. Around 14 lakh candidates applied initially, out of which 9.1 lakh participated.
