Alibaba has launched an AI image generator known as Tongyi Wanxiang, which is currently in beta and available only to business customers. The move forms part of Alibaba's efforts to increase its presence in the flourishing AI sector. Available to developers through Alibaba Cloud, the company also launched a ChatGPT-like AI text generator called Tongyi Qianwen in April. Baidu and SenseTime have launched similar devices but have yet to receive regulatory clearance for general release.

Adani company's 6,000kg iron bridge 'stolen' from Mumbai, 4 held
